Mobile Phone WAP Billing lets customers make payments for mobile internet content and mobile phone premium services via their mobile phones. Mobile content owners can use WAP billing for one-off site access, subscription services or selling mobile phone content.
XHTML offers much richer Mobile Internet user experience. This is due to an extensive component set similar to HTML, enabling the control of colours, fonts, tables and images. In addition content is rendered specifically to the individual mobile phone handset in order to optimise the images displayed on screen. Users also benefit from only being able to see content (Games etc) that are applicable to their WAP enabled mobile phone. This obviously means that when orders are placed the product is compatible with the handset and this in turn reduces customer complaints.
